(More customer reviews)I bought the book when I took the course from Yogesh Jaluria (the authur). I found it to be an excellently written book with clear explanation of the numerical methods before each example. This book is a reflection of his teaching which is also superb. It might not be as comprehensive as Numerical Recipe but I found it to be much more tangible and clearer. I highly recommend it to to all engineering AND science students. There are only two grips I have with the book, all the codes are written in FORTRAN 77, which is a bit dated depending on your point of view, the other is that the pages like to fall off over time in the softcover copy.
