(More customer reviews)The book is great for beginners - easy to read and understand. The flaw? No answers for the extensive amount of practice problems. Clearly, if I were math inclined I wouldn't need this remedial sort of book. It would be helpful to check my answers instead of accepting my possible wrong answers and continuing through the book. The workbook (is purchased separately) has answers only to the odd problems which is a pet peeve of mine-especially when the questions include "short answer" items on divergent topics. I understand this is to make sure that the work is being done without peeking, but wouldn't an in-class test identify peekers while the rest of us could be sure we are on the right track?
